::Hello, babies!::

My friend Valerie was kind enough to snap some pics of my recent creations!

I had NO IDEA what to do when I was given my first munny, and ended up doing some quick doodles on it with a sharpie. Nothing special, nothing interesting, and nothing spectacular. In fact, quite boring and plain. But after organizing my boxes and bags of craft materials, I came back to my mountain of macaroons and whipped cream, and the sea of cabochons that I had collected. ...!! TA DA. Here are my babies.

::I have a sweet tooth, baby.::

Yesterday, my friend Lane kindly donated me a 8" munny (from kidrobot !! Dayumn their toys seem over priced for a stingy Asian like me, but more importantly, AWESOME!)
Today, after feasting okonomiyaki, and being happy with Santa Monica Mitsuwa's THANK YOU FESTIVAL (which entailed of 99 cent produce!!) I spent a good 3 to 4 hours customizing the munny... Which got a little tedious, but was obviously enough fun for me to pull through till the end.

Better pictures to come soon (hopefully!)
Everything except for the cabochons on this munny was made by me! The "whipped cream" is silicone corking, cupcake-base and macaroon with light weight clay, and lollypop with sculpey. I painted the base with Montana spray-paint, and the "drips" and eye was done with acrylics.
I'm pretty happy and proud with the result, and can't wait to add her to my plethora of plastic toys I decorate my bathroom with.

::LOVe LoVE Plushies!::

I haven't updated here in a while!!
...But that doesn't mean I've been lazy or anything. The past weeks have been crazy with whole bunch of events, reunions (I'm having a friend I've had since 5TH GRADE stay at my place tonight...Visiting all the way from Arizona, crazy!) ... But I've also found the time to be productive, despite this weird stuffy-runny-stuffy-nose disease I successfully collected from Comic Con (update on my adventure at Comic Con can be found HERE!)

Oh my beloved little oysters. As much as a bitch it is to make each of you,
I think I'm in love.

Mr. Octopus needs some tweaking, but he sure is dapper.

A project that I abandoned last year... I hate working with fur,
but you turned out pretty cute. My friend remarked that he looks like a raver's back pack,
so I might have to sew him onto one of my school bags.
I'm going to be 21 in 2 months and 25 days, and I'll have a plushie on my bag.
So age appropriate.

Cross-stitch Type.
Now how's that.
As tedious and finger-numbing this process is,
I might want to incorporate it into a future project.
